I would like to present you the program Arensus Crossword Puzzle Editor.
Arensus is a program for the production of professional Crossword Puzzles.
With this program it is now possible for all to create Swedish crossword puzzles.
It is suitable both for the professional and for the hobby crossword puzzle
author. The program is written in Java and thus runs nearly on all operating
systems such as Windows, Linux and Macintosh. Clue databases can be provided
and organized comfortably. Data can be imported from different text files.
Arensus Crossword Puzzle Editor
With Arensus Crossword Puzzle Editor 1.1 you cannot only create crossword
puzzles. The included and your own databases can be searched comfortably. For
example indefinite word parts can be searched with wild cards. Here is a small
example, with the following character string P*L?K the dictionary
feature of Arensus Crossword Puzzle Editor supplies as result PASCHALIK,
PORTULAK and PUBLIK. The character * stands thereby of arbitrary
letters of arbitrary length. The character ? stands for an individual
unknown letter.

As many different databases as desired can be created and administered, ideally
to organize clues of different topic. Data records can be moved or copied with
few clicks between the databases. New data records can be entered or be
extracted from a usual text. Also text files with terms can be imported.

Complete crossword puzzles can be created fully automatic, without expertise by yourself. The databases which are to be used can be selected. The creation process can be stopped in the middle to delete unwanted terms or to continue creating manually.

The appearance of the crossword puzzle can be changed after own taste. Border thickness, lattice thickness, font-type, font size and colors can be selected.

The clues can be corrected and formatted manually. The line and word breaking can be specified exactly, depending upon language.
The final result can be saved as EPS, JPEG, PNG, HTML or PDF.
The crossword puzzle can be published with the Arensus Crossword Puzzle Java Applet as an Online Game too.
