Dictionary

In Arensus Crossword Puzzles Compiler, database and dictionary are differentiated. Although both of them are used in the same manner for search, it exist some differences.

Database:	Dictionary:
for each database a separate window search only in one database entries can be edited or deleted new entries can be inserted	only one window search in all activated dictionares and databases entries cannot be edited ore delted no new entries can be inserted

Dictionary Menu

• View - Show content of a dictionary.
• Dictionaries - Activate dictionaries for use in search and construction.
  Activate databases in the same manner in Database Menu when you want them to be searchable in dictionary window too.
• Search - Open dictionary window.

Search in Dictionary Window

Open the search window with Dictionary->Search. Type in the input field behind A: the word you are looking for. Use wildcards ? for unknown letters and * for unknown group of letters of undefined length. Press the button on the right side of the input field.

If you get too many results, type a keyword of the clue into the input field behind C:
